The Haze is a unique component of the Hausmate system. It looks like a standard lighting dimmer, but it is much more complex than that. The Haze has an illuminated collar, with a different color for each service that it controls. It is normally mounted on the wall, on standard blank lighting face plates of plastic or metal finishes such as brushed steel, brass or aluminium

            


How to use the Haze: 


As default, the Haze is programmed with a specific color for each function, as follows: 

 No light Normal light switch
Green Light scenes
Blue Audio
Yellow Curtains
Red Windows

In each mode the coloured light will pulse for a count of five then return to the default No Light scenario if it is not touched.


1. Light scenes

  • By default, the light scenes are marked by colour GREENbut this may have been changed by the user
  • Press and hold until you get the right colour
  • Release the button on the right colour - the LED should start pulsing on that colour
  • Turn from side to side to start to either dim or brighten the current light scene
  • Click to cycle through the various light scenes available

2. Audio
  • By default, the Audio is marked by colour BLUEbut this may have been changed by the user
  • Press and hold until you get the right colour
  • Release the button on the right colour - the LED should start pulsing on that colour
  • Turn from side to side to start to turn the volume up or down
  • Click to pause or play
  • Click, hold and turn to change the tracks backwards or forwards

3. Curtains
  • By default, curtains are marked by colour YELLOW, but this may have been changed by the user
  • Press and hold until you get the right colour
  • Release the button on the right colour - the LED should start pulsing on that colour
  • Turn from side to side to start to either open or close the curtains
  • Click to stop the curtains at the current position or leave them to run to fully open / closed. 

4. Windows
  • By default, windows are marked by colour RED but this may have been changed by the user
  • Press and hold until you get the right colour
  • Release the button on the right colour - the LED should start pulsing on that colour
  • Turn from side to side to start to either open or close the window
  • Click to stop the window at the current position or leave them to run to fully open / closed.
