PLANNER OVERVIEW


Life is a set of daily, weekly or seasonal patterns built around our families, our careers, our schooling and our free time and the Planner allows you to control your house according to these pre set patterns. Although it looks like a conventional online calendar, the Planner has two main parts: 

  • an overview of the year, month by month
  • a timeline which lets you specify what services you want to use in the course of a day



Examples of how the Planner might be used for an increase comfort within your house: 

  • You could heat the house in the morning, before waking up, then turn it off during the day if the house is unoccupied.
  • You can set up an occupancy-activated low lighting scene in corridors and use the Planner to apply that scene over the small hours when you don’t want to be dazzled if you need to get up in the night.
  • You can set up a profile describing the daily garden watering programme which suits the plants’ seasonal needs and allocate them across several months of the calendar.
  • You can define a season for an outdoor swimming pool, running daily filtering and sterilisation, and if the forecast is good mark the coming days so the pool water heating is brought up to a comfortable temperature.


HOW TO USE THE PLANNER

  • Log in to the UI - click here if you need help to log in to the UI.
  • On the Home Page, click on the menu button, at the top left hand corner
  • Select Planner

To add a new profile:
  • On the Planner page, click on MANAGE PROFILES
  • Click on New Profile
  • Name the profile and select a colour code, then click on SAVE
  • Now you have a Profile for a particular occasion.  You need to set up Events within the Profile.

On your Home page:

  • Click on the menu button in the top left corner
  • Select Planner
  • Click on the Profile you wish to edit
  • For Add occurrence select the frequency of the event
  • Click on Save
  • Select a date on the calendar when the designated Profile is showing as active
  • Click the EVENTS ON bar
  • Select the relevant Group then the desired Zone
  • Select the service icon you wish to define
  • On the Add event screen state the required start time
  • Select the Profile name on the drop down menu
  • Define the parameters
  • Click on Save
  • Repeat for each service and Zone you wish to include under this Profile.

Once you set up the profiles and allocated them across your calendar, the Hausmate system should know everything it needs to run your house, without wasting energy.
