1. HOW ACCESS WORKS WITH HAUSMATE



Hardware required for Access:

  • Zone Gateway
  • Relay Unit
  • The Host
  • Intercom / keypad /  doorbell

Other apps that can be used together with Access: 

Powered gates can be controlled via your Hausmate app, whether the access is for yourself, visitors or deliveries.  The gates will remain open for a pre-set period of time or until you press Close.

2. HOW TO USE THE ACCESS APP

To open / close the gates via the UI:
  • Log in to the UI -  click here if you need help to log in to the UI.
  • On the Home page, click on the menu button at the top left hand corner
  • Select Access
  • Selecting OPEN will open the gates and they will remain open for the pre-set period of time
  • Selecting HOLD OPEN will override the settings and the gates will remain open
  • Selecting CLOSE will close the gates whether OPEN or HOLD OPEN has been previously selected

To change the settings for Access: 

  • On the Home page, click on the menu button at the top left hand corner
  • Select Settings
  • At the top of the page, click on the arrow and select Access
  • You can edit the gate hold times and link into a CCTV camera, if there is one installed.


To manage gate keys: 

  • On the Home page, click on the menu button at the top left hand corner
  • Select Settings
  • At the top of the page, click on the arrow and select Keypad Door Release
  • You can add an unlimited number of keypads, for different members of the family or visitors. If needed, set up a start and end date when the code is active and in case of multiple access points, chose the ones you want to grant access to.
  • The Search menu allows to check the access history in previous days.
