Why is a support contract necessary?


Although support contracts aren’t mandatory, it’s wise to have one in place before you need it. Support contracts are an extension of the premier service we provide and another way we maintain loyalty to existing customers. Your support and maintenance requests will be given top priority.


What if I choose not to establish a support contract?


If you choose not to take advantage of a support contract we will still provide you with the support that you need. Each time you make a request there may be a charge, but this will need your approval before the work is carried out.


Can I wait until I need something and then establish a support contract?


Yes you can, and once the contract is signed and your support contract is set up we can get to work on a solution to your problem. As such we recommend establishing your support contract as soon as possible. It has certainly proven useful to have a contract in place ahead of time.


If I do not have a support contract, how much will it cost to get help?


If you do not have a support contract then on-site visits are charged at £95+VAT per hour, and phone support will be charged at £45/hr after the first 10mins. In the event of a hardware failure, replacements can be mailed to you, and can be installed by your local electrician if prefered.


How does pricing work for support contracts?


It’s simple. Contracts are established and paid for on an annual basis, and there are no setup fees. If you do not have a support contract in place, you can set one up at any point, or we can supply all the support you need on a pay-as-you-go basis.


Hardware warranties


All Hausmate hardware is covered for the first year after installation. Once the standard warranty period has expired, 100% hardware replacement is covered within the gold cover for another 3 years, although there will be an additional cost for replacement hardware with the standard warranty.
